Hawai‘i Pacific Parks Association (HPPA) offers materials that are an extension of the National Park Service (NPS) interpretive, educational, and research programs, and connects people to Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historical Site in a way that will encourage lifelong learning and enable a deeper connection to
the park. The purpose of Pu‘ukoholā Heiau National Historic Site is to restore and preserve the historically significant temple associated with Kamehameha the Great, the property of John Young, and the cultural landscape (1791—1835) of the park.
